We are a bit early this year with our district meeting or what we used to call the reception of the Grand Master. This year it will take place at the Greenwood Masonic Center on September 12th at 1100 hours. There will not be any special programs for the ladies but they are cordially invited and encouraged to attend. This will be a District 4 and 5 combo so we should have a full house. Bring your questions and help welcome our Grand Lodge Team. Lunch will be provided. I will post an update to this regarding parking and dress.  Address for the Greenwood Masonic Center is 7910 Greenwood Ave. N  Seattle, WA 98103. That ends this transmission for now. Mark your calenda

A few thoughts on the passing of VWB Errol Scott. It was impressive to see the turnout of the Fraternity to say goodbye to Brother Errol. It was even more impressive to see one of the tenets of Freemasonry in action.

A Buddhist memorial service followed by a Masonic memorial service which was followed by a service by the members of the Eastern Star. It was even more impressive when you learn that the Buddhist priest was a member of all three organizations. This proves the universality of Freemasonry. We turn no man away based on his religion.

What tribute to Brother Errol that he could bring all three together in harmony for the good of all. Brother Errol was a man who had the reputation of being a go to man. You needed something done you called on Errol. If he wasn’t capable of the task he found someone who could.

On April 20th VWB Errol laid aside his working tools and ascended to that lodge not made by human hands. We will miss Brother Errol. Tim Hall

We had to change the location of the bowling tournament and it will now be held at Kenmore Lanes on April 19th at 2pm. Their address is 7638 NE Bothell Way Kenmore, WA 98028. This is a family friendly event and a great chance to introduce our newest Masons to the festive atmosphere and great fellowship that makes our fraternity great.
